Piano tuning

Maria has apprenticed as a piano technician with the Floating Piano Factory based in New York, NY, and with Marco Scott in Fairfield County, CT.

She takes great joy in improving the sound and feel of an instrument.

Maria enjoys meeting musicians and music lovers from all walks of life in the course of her daily work. She has tuned in homes, recording studios, theaters, schools, warehouses, restaurants (indoor and outdoor) and more. To date, her most unusual piano tuning situation was serving as piano technician for an album recording that took place in a natural cave ten stories underground.
